Do I get to see the person I'm matched with? Pics?

On Vlncy, the pictures come later. 
Because, lets face it. On dating apps driven by face cards, its always "all flaws forgiven at first sight".
You and your match actually vibe together for a while before appearance captures your thinking.


How do I know the matches on the app are real?

We're a dating-catfish extinction event. 
We seek every singleton's actual complete name and details from the beginning of the sign up. Backed up with legal ID. 
Oh, the things that accomplishes at once:
1.     Puts everyone on their best behaviour. When you can't hide behind an alias, things really change, don’t they? (We're glad to see women approve.)
2.     Rules out people logging in 'just for fun'. Its real, sincere dating we want. Right?


How soon do I start getting matches?

It takes us up to 48 hours to find people that'll jive with you.
You’ll begin getting dates 4-6 weeks after your account is ready.


How many matches do I get?

You're given a maximum of five matches at a time. We're matching real people. Not momos and dips.


How do I get to know my matches?

Vlncy lets you break the ice (not everyone's got the tools for it) with a series of insightful questions you'll both have to answer. With multiple choices as answers.


So, interactions have no messaging at all?

There’s no messaging on the app itself. Using our interactions, you’ll get a rough idea of who you’re talking to before you begin investing energy in actually conversing with someone.


At what point do I get to see my match? Talk to them?

You unlock access to each other through our interaction questions. Pics, voice notes, contact details, with increasing trust. Good to feel prized, isn’t it?


What happens if I get no matches on Vlncy for a while?

The billing cycle will begin only when you get matches. So you don’t lose out on the duration of your membership. We’ll be there to ensure that matches DO happen, however.


What kind of dates is Vlncy setting up for me?

We're thinking of safety and ice-breaking when we offer two kinds of dates currently. Lunch or a dance date. We’ll be adding more options soon.


What if the kind of dates I get simply aren't working for me?

Vlncy gives you the options of rating not only the dating venues you visited but the person we connected you with. We'll be expansive in finding out exactly where we could improve or if that person doesn't belong in a dating circle. Then find you folks that you belong with.
It’s totally possible some of the dates you get are less than satisfactory. But in such cases, we do want to be told.
We’re learning and tweaking our matching algorithm; with your help, we’ll get it right.


Will Vlncy guide people to dating venues and activities?

We intend to partner with venues and arrange for date-ready activities, making arrangements wherein you enjoy benefits such as ease of booking, discounts, etc.

Wait, so I'll need to show an actual ID? Is that even safe?

With us, any information you provide is utterly safe. Merely using it for verification, we will never share any details with anyone. Not with your matches, nor advertisers (we have no advertisers), nor any third party.


What happens to all that personal information if I decide to leave?

Every little byte is scrubbed from any server that was involved. Like you were never even there.


How do I (and how does Vlncy) deal with offensive or abusive singletons?

We give you the option of Terminating and Reporting users at both stages: during the interactions themselves, and at/ after the date or exchange of contact details.
Terminating an interaction/ connection cleanly severs their match with you. Reporting, in addition to terminating that match, gives you the chance to flag any behaviour that’s inappropriate and in violation of our guidelines.
The team of moderators we’ve got will rapidly investigate every report and blacklist and bar them from the platform if they’re found to be offenders.
This Reporting option extends to behaviour at the date venue too.


Do singletons get to express what they felt about their matches?

We actually encourage our singletons to use the Rate and Review feature to let us know exactly that. It’ll help us find better matches for you and improve the app itself.
The Rate and Review feature exists for the date venues we present on our app as well.

Without pics or a bio…how long does it take me to make a complete Vlncy account?

Expect half an hour between your first screen and getting put 'out there'. It’ll take us up to two days to find you matches once the platform is populated.


What does making an account on Vlncy involve?

There's the initial sign up and verification. Pro tip: Keep your Aadhaar or passport around. We then take you through the Fisher Temperament Inventory questionnaire. It’s a series of multi-choice questions that we use to gauge…..go on, guess what, it’s right there in the name. You’ll then fill in details about partner preferences, etc. to complete your profile.


I can take that FTI thing in sections, of course, right?

For the sake of accuracy, the FTI HAS to be answered within one session. You’ll be learning something about yourself in the fifteen minutes it takes, so its worth it
Toss in ten minutes more for ASMR, and you’re sorted.


What does ASMR have to do with dating?

If you're compatible with someone, you'll likely react to specific sounds just like they do.


What if I feel I didn't get my temperament gauged right?

You're permitted one round of FTI analysis within each membership cycle.
There's a cooldown period between each assessment.


What happens after I retake the FTI?

We find you fresh matches after 48 hours. Clearing the previous ones.
You're not going to be compatible with matches of a temperament type that isn't truly yours, right?


How does membership work on Vlncy?

Currently, you have two options for membership.
One that costs 3500 for a month. Another that’s 10000 for three months, with the fourth month being free. Your billing cycle begins only when you get matches.


What happens if I’m inactive on Vlncy for a while?

We want other singletons to see only other active people on the platform.
So, two weeks of inactivity will pause your account and membership and take you off the matching lists. Your FTI profile remains intact, however, ready for you to log in again.


How does account deletion work? What happens to all my information?

Account deletion on Vlncy is a no-hassle matter. You’ll have two days within which deletion reversal is possible. Past that, all your data (verification information, name, email ID, phone number, etc.) will be scrubbed from the system. All we keep is anonymised FTI profiles and match data, merely to help us figure and improve our app.
You’ll have to redo the entire thing….verification, FTI, matching…if you give Vlncy another shot after account deletion. Your membership will also expire with account deletion.
